The name's Dis. I'm a fairly advanced roleplayer, and a cool bro suggested this site to me. After a brief inspection, I decided to join!
Other than roleplaying, I enjoy flannel shirts, motorcycles, attempting to play the drums, wrestling bears, and other manly activities. I draw, too - my icon over there is a doodle of me! I'll replace it with a one of my cats soon.

I'm in the process of writing out an advanced character bio. Forgive me if I've overlooked something, but will it be accepted regardless of my newbieness? Or do I have to stick around for a while?

Appearance:
Discord's brutish appearance is often referred to as "bear-like" and "rough around the edges" at best. He is massive in bulk and build, with a shaggy, dirty, dark chocolate coat. On his front legs and chest, there are many large scars and gashes, as the result of some of his previous brawls. He has various smaller scars scattered over his body. His distinctive look is accentuated by his particularly shaggy jawline, bobbed tail, and bright orange eyes.
He is noted for his unusual demeanor, characterized by a proud stagger and a wild, snaggletoothed, cheshire smirk.
Personality:
Discord is a decent, if self-serving, rogue who adheres to his own questionable set of morals. With a massive height and muscular build, Discord never had to rely on intelligence, agility, or a quick wit to protect himself; focusing more on physical strength and intimidation. He is prideful in his rough appearance, especially in his scars, each one reminding him of a different adventure. His bold, dim-witted nature has gotten him in many scrapes and tough situations. He tends to act brave but foolhardy, and chooses not to reveal much of his past or the reason for his travels.
Discord considers himself sensitive to attractive she-cats, however, he is not one to commit to intimate relationships, often leaving before things get too serious.

--- Dislikes: Losing battles, hunger, being treated like he's stupid (despite the fact that, in all reality, he is).
---Strengths: Incredibly intimidating physical strength and a charming, down-to-earth demeanor.

History:
Discord grew up in a tumultuous unnamed Clan. He spent most of his youth unsure whether his father, a rogue named Bearmane, was really his parent, frequently referring to him as "The-Rogue-Who-Might-Be-Father".
Despite Discord's resentment of Bearmane, he respected the fact that he was always there for him when needed most, such as when he nearly got his paw bitten off by an angry badger. Discord was determined to follow in Bearmane's footsteps and live a life of freedom and adventure, rather than just some ordinary tom like the majority of his clan.
One night, he snuck by moonlight into the forest, and, accidentally coming upon Bearmane, had a discussion of freedom and the need for toms to make their own decisions. Bearmane told him he was completely justified in leaving to find his own path, and renamed him Discord in a right of passage.
In his travels, he's met many enemies and friends alike. He spends his days drifting from place to place, from one fight to the next.
Roleplay Sample:
The young kit had woken up when it was still dark, the cave completely silent aside from the deep breathing of his clanmates. With a groan, Discord rolled over onto his back and stared up at the rocky ceiling of the barren cave. 'Now what?' he grumbled to himself.
Here he was, his young life held captive in his own home by his loving clanmates, when freedom lay not twenty feet away beyond the mouth of the open cave. For over a minute he sat there, listening and watching intently, searching for any sign that any member of his clan were not quite as asleep as they appeared. At last, convinced of their slumber, he gently threaded his way between their sleeping bodies and slowly began moving towards the mouth of the cave, taking care not to tread on anyone's tail.
